Weekend of Firsts at Evesham Regatta

On 3rd and 4th May Bridgnorth Rowing club competed at Evesham Regatta over a 500 metre course. This was the first event of the summer regatta season, and saw a number of firsts for the club.

Still the second fastest on the Severn!

Two crews represented Bridgnorth Rowing Club in this year's Head Of the River race on Saturday 15th March in London. 2008 was the first time in club's history two teams have been entered in the event, with one experienced crew and a crew of novice oarsmen.

North Of England Head

Bridgnorth Rowing Club entered two crews for this year's North Of England Head race on Saturday 8th March. Both crews completed the course in a good time, being very competitive in their categories.

Four crews race in Worcester

BRC had a large entry for this year's Worcester Head on Saturday 23rd February.

We entered a total of 4 crews, over two separate divisions. The race was just short of 5,000 metres, and was the first race for some of our new members. The conditions were good for racing, although a head wind made a long course even more challenging.
