Huniors racing at Novice 4 level

Many members from Bridgnorth Rowing Club attended Bewdley Regatta on the weekend of 28th July. Most of the club's boats travelled to the event, with crews competing in 4 and 8 person rowing events, along with single, double and quad sculls. The event saw a strong turnout of the club's juniors and novices racing over the two day event, along with the highest status crew in the club, the coxless quad.

we won 20 pots in Ironbridge!

On the weekend of 28th July Bridgnorth Rowing Club attended Ironbridge Regatta. The regatta was cancelled last year due to flooding, and bounced back with over 250 crews racing each day making for a busy weekend of racing.

Monmouth Regatta & National Schools Regatta

Bridgnorth Rowing club competed in Monmouth over the bank holiday weekend, providing more race experience and another chance to win pots. Charlotte Jukes also competed in the National Schools Regatta on Friday 23rd May, against tough competition from around the country.

Four wins for Bridgnorth Rowing Club in Shrewsbury

On 10th and 11th May Bridgnorth Rowing Club competed in Shrewsbury, and won four separate events.

The conditions for the weekend were excellent, with the sun helping to attract large crowds along the banks of the Severn. Over 300 crews competed on Saturday alone, making for a very busy regatta.

The star performer of the weekend was Charlotte Jukes who won all three events that she entered. On Saturday, Charlotte won the J15b single sculls event over 1000 Metres, easily beating her opposition in the final. On Sunday, she won the J15b event event over 600M, again finishing well ahead of the opposition in the final. Later in the same day, Charlotte paired with Fiona Nixon at Senior 3 level, winning this event with a 1 boat length lead over Guildford in the final race.
